Most people haven't heard of Electrostatic Discharge (ESD). ESD is caused by static electricity building up on the Integrated Circuits (pictured to the left). After time this chain like build up can link together and short out the circuit board. All electronics are subject to ESD. THEREFORE...


We recommend turning off the LED SIGN every 72 hours for 4 hours. Turn it off over night when your target audience is sleeping. 

To preserve your investment every owner should schedule their digital led sign to AUTOMATICALLY turn off for a minimum of 4 hours after running 72 hours straight. Most customers schedule this down time every night (between the hours of 2-7am). Not only will this save money but, it will preserve the sign that much longer. This can be arranged using the software and users guide provided. We do this to prevent electrostatic discharge.
